CC did handle the cold and the noise, but it wasn't very cold or noisy. Sunny, little wind. Not a huge crowd. Yup, CC outplayed us, but a few different results on plays probably wouldn't have changed the game.

CC has a lot to be proud of, we should hold our heads high.

Perspective and pragmatism in hand tells me that our dominant reign in FCS ended a while ago. We are not going away but a lot of coaching talent and parity of athletic talent means that the battle for top dog will be even more competitive. I think we will find the top again but staying there will be a stiffer test.

I enjoyed our season and bet our men in maroon feel that they gave it their all! Maybe their post game perspective sees the big picture clearer than our insatiable fan base.

Now I know PR must watch the game from a heated skybox behind nice windows that separates the fan from the weather.

It wasn't bad to walk in for a few minutes, but It was damn cold if you had to sit outside in it for 4 hours!!

I fully agree with you about the bad officiating however.
