Agreed, it is sinful. Coach of the year goes to Katz and Hayford.

DeCuire deserved it, in my opinion, as he exceeded expectations far more than any other coach. He got his team to peak at the right time, to finish first, and host the tourney.

What more can you ask?

Did his peers just not feel comfortable giving the honor to a rookie coach?
