This is a big deal. Not saying what Pridgett will go on to accomplish, but as a high school player, the only level he's attained so far, he has put himself into this kind of company: Gary Payton; Jason Kidd; Aaron Gordon; Ivan Rabb (likely lottery pick in this year's NBA draft; Phil Chenier (ex of Cal and the Warriors); Paul Silas; Charles Johnson; Jeremy Lin; Damien Lillard; Will Cherry; J.R. Rider; Phil Smith; Greg Foster; Antonio Davis, Leon Powe. (Not to mention Bill Russell, who came out of Oakland but wasn't that great a player in high school.) That we could recruit a First-Team all-Bay Area player is further testimony to DeCuire's recruiting prowess.

There's another future Griz on this list, citay.

Not to be overlooked is a young man who earned ContraCosta/Tri Valley recognition as a junior -- Tim Falls of Dublin, H. S. Mr. Falls is the first 2017 commit for Montana.

So, congrats to both Sayeed Pridgett and Timmy Falls -- future Montana Griz -- as among the outstanding prep players from the Northern California, SF region!

I would add that for Montana to recruit TWO all-Bay Area players is even further testimony to coach Travis DeCuire's recruiting prowess.

Ah, Honorable Mention. I don't look at that no more. Who cares? Not the style to which I've become accustomed. (Kidding.)

Timmy Falls should of been 2nd or at least 3rd team if it wasn't for the weakness of his overall team...they had a tough season and some of the guys on the teams above Timmy were on better teams so they reap the rewards...Timmy is a damn good player....

Congrats to Sayeed and Timmy. This has me even more pumped up for GRIZ basketball. Speaking of pumped up, this could serve as further motivation for Timmy Falls to reach higher levels for his Sr Year. Mr. Falls, does Timmy feel snubbed?
