Conference Title Still Possible

A lot of crazy negativity from just last week. Game is over, the team as likely moved on. So shall we.

A Big Sky Conference title is still possible. I personally am confident we win out. Our toughest 2 games are at home, and I’n Betting this team is going to bounce back very well. It starts with a win this weekend vs EWU.

Sac State has two tough games left, neither a guaranteed win vs Weber and Cal-Davis. Davis much better than they played against us, and a repeat of their NDSU performance will help, plus its their rival game.

A 3 way tie between Sac State, Griz and Weber still very possible. Grizzlies could still win outright with one loss as their are no guarantees in a tough Big Sky this year.

I still believe we win 9 this year and will be a top 5 team if we win out. Amazing that people flip so quickly. Good thing you are only arm chair qbs.

Got my "lazy boy".

These Grizzlies are still facing the gauntlet. Yet I agree every one of their remaining games are winnable. If Montana takes care of business they may win the conference, or at the least still be very well placed for the playoffs.

Sac State has looked red hot of late yet they too have a bit of a gauntlet ahead. We'll see if they stumble.

I can see them stumbling once, not twice.

A lot going on this weekend for sure. Take care of ewu and we stay alive. The Weber-sac state on the 2nd is huge and Davis needs to come alive down the stretch. Going to be some good football these last few weeks..

Go Griz!

I agree they will stumble at least once. It wouldn't surprise me if they lose 2. Tough schedule.

Sac State will not beat UCD, that is a rival game they rarely win. I also think WSU will beat them in Ogden. If we win out and I think we will, we will at least share the BSC title.

Of course it's still possible. There is a lot of season still to be played out.

As a Sac State fan, in no way am I convinced they'll win those games against Weber or UCD. Hell, Poly might have something to say this weekend. I'm hopeful the Hornets new staff will have the team laser focused and sharp and in no way looking past anyone. But you never know with young kids.

Honestly, I am just hopeful the Hornets can go at least 3-2 for an 8-4 record. That should get them into the playoff. Greedily, I'd of course love to see them run the table or go 4-1 at worst. But nothing ever comes easy for the Hornets program.

Regardless, your team is still in it. No doubt. Sac State is going to have to play as they have all season and win out to ensure themselves of anything. They lose 1 game, let alone 2, and things might change dramatically.

Well, I hope you're right, but unless they fix that pass D they are gonna struggle against EWU and any other team that passes like Sac/EWU.

You mean teams like Idaho State and UD-Davis? One bad game does not define our season, good Lord man. EWU, ISU, UCD, Sac...we have a TON of good passing teams in the Big Sky and one out of 3 beat us so far, that ain't bad.
