It's been a 12 day layoff for the Men. Non-conference certainly did not go the way any of us thought it would. With the start of a new season tomorrow, we have two choices now. We can either right the ship, learn some tough lessons from from things that didn't go well in non-conference, put the past behind us, and start playing as a team and see if we can get this season back on track. Or we can essentially wave the white flag, pack it in and call it a year, pronounce to the world that we missed on this years portal class, and turn our attention to next year. I of course would prefer to right the ship, but I guess we'll see what the mantra of this team is when they take the floor tomorrow.
We get things started with a 5-7 NAU team tomorrow who so far is winless on the road this year. All 5 of their wins have come in Flagstaff. They do appear to have some dudes, most notably Zack Davidson who we all are familiar with. I'm spacing on the other kids name but they have a Guard who is pretty decent as well. We got one "tune up" game before the big showdown with UNC on Saturday. I sincerely hope these guys choose t right the ship and we can make a run at this thing cause last season was so much fun. Guess we'll see what happens tomorrow!
