Compare and Contrast DLs

Of Ewu and state. Griz O-line did their job protecting Gus for the most part yesterday. Ewu's front seven, particularly their DL is terrible. How does state compare? Gotta protect Gus....

States D line is maybe a slight bit better then EWU.

The problem at msu is the tackling is horrible. Don't break down, don't fill gaps, don't rally to the ball...

The msu defensive scheme is very unsound. In most cases they play very close to the line and if you find a crease, there is no deep defender to clean up. The only defender that I wish was in Griz colors is Mac Bignell... the dude is a player.

Have seen 4 of the cat games and at times it looks like they are playing with 9 defenders.

Sad thing is, the results would not be a lot worse if their defense did not take the field. At least it would give their offense more time with the ball. :thumb:
