Sounds like UND got hosed. I was someone who thought going into this post-season UND would step it up after losing the 2019 Bid. I’m happy for WSU. But I don’t like some of the stuff the committee did this year. Very skeptical about the decision-making.

If they preach body of work and gave NDSU the 3 seed because they “felt” NDSU was better than MSU. How can they justify HC over WSU?

Agreed

Also, they talk about “student athlete experience” UND had to do their meetings and half time in a tent when they visited Nichols in 2019 due to construction. This is all just a lot to wrap my head around and the more I think about it, the more I go down a suspect road.

With Weber, I’m guessing the committee was concerned about the optics of more than half the seeds going to 2 leagues.

Without SHSU and JMU, that’s just the reality the committee and east coast need to accept. East Coast Bias is at an all time high. Even screwed Troy out of the buck last year. Weird how he has the most 1st place votes but wasn’t even in the top 3 for some.

The sheer quantity of hate coming from social media is overwhelming. Friday, everything was peachy. Sunday people were shocked. Today, 90% of FCS social media is laser focused on how the Griz appear to have bribed their way into the playoffs. The Griz used to be hated for bulldozing everyone. Now this. Ugh… can we please beat SEMO to prove that being in is deserved?

I would suggest they should be laser focused on the system as opposed to anyone they think may have used it better.

Regardless, SEMO had to tear down half of their stadium this year because engineers condemned it. Currently, Houck stadium only holds 4000 people. And according to the players in my class, the sprin turf has deep holes in it.

I would guess it was hard for them to forget the January, 2022 game.

If they're gonna take "body or work" or recent history into account, how is Sac State in the top 4?! Would anyone on this board put money down for Sac to beat any of the 3 teams seeded behind them?

I have no problem with the Griz benefiting from their prestige; the playoffs are better with UM participating. I take zero issue with NDSU being seeded above MSU; they're recent history says it all. HOWEVER, if we're gonna take history and "body of work" into account, there needs to be some consistency. Sac State shouldn't be seeded in the top 4

Ru just following me around and throwing jabs? You’re being a weirdo.

So the Griz only got in because of money and the next day there’s an article released that directly refutes the statement. Ironic
