Colt on ESPN

Quick question. Anybody catch ESPN's top 5 "what was that" or something to that effect. Number 10 was saying something to number 30 (colt I believe) and it was ..... I don't know. Just wondering if somebody can fill me in on this "highlight".

Nope, but I did see Jimmy Wilson on c'Mon man last night with his embarrassing attempt at tackling a Patriot player.

pretty sure it was DeSean Jackson yelling at his position coach as Colt was walking down the sidelines. nothing between Colt and DeSean.

Colt whiffed on a tackle on a play that setup a touchdown for the Vikings. I'm not sure if it was a third-down play or not as it was on NFL Redzone and if flipped over just in time to hear Moose Johnson break down the miss in slow motion...

Sad thing was Redzone flipped over from the Dolphins game right after Jimmy Wilson had the most half-hearted attempt at a tackle on a TD that gave the Pats the lead. He didn't try to tackle, he literally girl slapped at Edleman (sp?) as he ran by.

Redzone then flipped back only to show Fletcher getting burned on the go ahead TD for the Dolphins over the Pats.

It was a sad 20 minute span for Montana affiliated NFLers.

Thankfully Tru has been getting a lot of air time for his INT of Drew Brees. That is definitely a rough stretch for Montana boys though haha!

Here is Jimmy's not a highlight...

For the record I was wrong...it wasn't Fletcher that gave up the go ahead TD to the Phins.

FTC anyway...

Wish he would have acted like he's made a big play before; a little amateur hour dancing after the play.

Thanks guys. I saw all of it on Red Zone as well with alot of the boys. Info was good. Also saw an article that said Colt had hurt his knee, and they were bringing up another safety off of the practice squad. Colt seems to get his chances toward the latter part of the season.

Yeah, Tru became the first player to EVER celebrate making a big play in the NFL. Congrats Tru, even Deion Sanders didn't celebrate or anything when he made big plays. HE ALWAYS acted like he'd been there before. :thumb:

If you think that was excessive celebration by Tru I would love to hear what you think about every other offensive player in the NFL.

Great work by Tru (didn't like the dance but not because I'm old school just thought it was goofy looking). I can see what Jimmy was trying to do but it wasn't really the right play there. Watching those highlights is a good reminder that pros miss tackles and great QB's like Drew Brees make poor decisions with the ball. Helps me keep my frustration with some of the GRIZ play in perspective.

Demand excellence but know that the road is long.

ya, looked like he only tried to strip the ball. no attempt at a tackle.
