College Sports Madness Bracket Week 12

I feel like this would be a very ideal bracket after we take care of business in Bozeman. Make us earn it vs Sacramento State in the quarterfinals.

Pretty interesting - would love to avenge Sac State loss, and it's very possible that SDSU could knock of the JMU Dukes to come here for a replay of the Mariani miracle.

That's actually a pretty realistic bracket. For instance, it has San Diego going to Bozotown (good fairly regional matchup), with the winner going to Ogden, which is a good bracket because neither team has yet played Weber this year.

It also sets up a potential (though unlikely, because the kitties would have to go into Fargo and win) Griz-Cat natty.

That’s actually a really good bracket for the Griz. The sac state game kinda worries me but maybe that’s just because of how terrible we played against them earlier this year. There’s no way SDSU beats JMU now that the jacks have lost their QB and RB for the season, so we would have to go to Harrisonburg, but it’s not like we’ve never won there before.

I don’t think that this will happen, but would be very interesting for the Griz to play Bozeman State back to back.

I'm a little surprised with the projection of Weber as a top 4 seed, but not SDSU. SDSU's Sagarin rating is 22 points higher than Weber's.

So if we hold down the #3 seed are we gaurenteed to be on the opposite side of #1 NDSU?

Correct. Top half of bracket is 1,4,5,8 and bottom half is 2,3,6,7. But being #3 in the polls doesn't (necessarily) mean getting the #3 seed. If UM/Sac are neck in neck for 3/4, I can see the committee giving the nod to Sac by virtue of head to head results. Of course, it's all moot until we beat the neighbors.

Ok got ya. Thanks for clearing that up for me
