Cold weather games

Hey tough guys...yeah you, read this from an article about the 49ers vs Packers game that may be the coldest game ever played in the NFL.

"Some players go sleeveless and refuse to change their playing attire no matter the conditions — Vince Lombardi famously didn’t let his players wear gloves in the Ice Bowl — but the Packers of today are open to changes.

“I don’t really subscribe to ‘the less clothes I have on, the tougher I am,’” tight end Ryan Taylor said. “The guys who think they’re the toughest guys in the world go out wearing no sleeves. It doesn’t make any sense. Being cold doesn’t make you tough. It makes you stupid.”

Running backs coach Alex Van Pelt concurred. “If you have to wear sleeves, wear sleeves. Nobody’s going to call you soft.”

Well at least the Griz players were tough in their playoff game and not soft or stupid...

Green Bay this weekend

It's embarrassing that it will likely require articles like that and pointed criticism from angry fans to finally bring the revelation to Griz coaches and players that, "Oh, so maybe we should dress for cold weather." Stupid is as stupid does...even Forrest gets it.

Not sure about the GRIZ players but I "know" the fan base is "pussy laden". 8000 no shows...8000 leave at half time. Hey Hammer...Didn't you wear shorts to the C.C. game ?? :egriz:

I wore shorts but the cold didn't effect me and I performed optimally all day long. Hammer didn't wear shorts, he is smarter than that
