See you at the game on Saturday!

Lot's of coach-speak, with one (IMO) exception: Mick said they will be playing their best players -- "starters" -- on Special Teams, not just backups. He claimed this was because they've changed their philosophy on ST, implying that this approach was by choice.

Based on previous posts, I wonder if that is truly the case. Perhaps they're playing the best, most experienced, players on ST because the backups weren't getting it done. Those of you who've watched the practices: Which do you think it is?

Bobby Hauck's special teams won quite a few games, and I think he had the some philosophy.

We haven't been getting it done on STs for the last two years.

I agree.. No discipline and sh!tty containment.

I remember the Hauck days where the starters played on ST too, never had the issues we've had the past two years. Good move by Mick IMO
