CMR @ Capital

Congrats to Jack and the boys.....woulda loved to have been there. Glad to see them get some revenge over Capital. Again....great win for CMR!

It was a great game. Coach Johnson definitely had them ready. They played more physically than I have seen them play all year.

I give the game ball to the defense. In the second hand, they just had stop after stop after stop. They were the money.

Matt Miller is a stud, but he looked like a mortal tonight. I wonder if his hammie wasn't bugging him more than they let on.
 
Was at the game. Capital looked average at best. CMR looked like a good team. They were more physical and deserved the championship. Capital is still the class of AA in Montana. Matt MIller had a sprained ankle and looked like he was hurting all night. I was horribly disappointed the entire fourth quarter with the Capital play calling. Fourth down and more than 6 with 2 minutes left they run a pass in the flats at the line of scrimmage. Horrible play call! Capital rode the coattails of Miller all season long and it was not Miller time last night. I kept looking for them to have him return punts, qb, get the ball to him in the open field and CMR just punished him every time he got the ball. Good for CMR. But how many titles since 1978 for CHS? They have been impressive!

I am looking forward to following Miller's career, no matter where he goes. Class kid!
 
CMR almost had them beat in the regular season. With Miller hurt CMR was the better team and were very hungry for the win.

Good Win and nice coaching for CMR last night.


I think MIller goes to Oregon State but just a guess. No way I play for Erickson at ASU as that situation seems a bit unstable. Boise is nice but would rather playing in the PAC -10 and academically Boise leaves a lot to be desired for a really bright kid.
