Bobcats have to have something to hold onto. It's their class this week because it's definitely not their football prowess. Ash'es post game speech sounded like a man who knows he is on the edge of the cliff in Bozeman.

This was explained on another thread by someone else. Coach Ash is desperately clinging to the word "class" because any other positive word, including the word "success" is so far from his grasp.
Under Coach Ash the bobcats have won just two out of their nine games versus the Grizzlies. As the bobcat nation polling showed, a majority of MSU fans would rather beat the Grizzlies than to be healthy, wealthy, and married to a gorgeous & smart woman.
At the beginning of the year the cats expected to not only win the conference but to compete for a national championship. Instead they failed to make the playoffs.
They fell to a losing season (5-6) for the first time in more than a decade. Even worse, two out of their five wins included beating a weak Division II squad and an FCS school fielding their first team in over a decade.
Coach Ash may have faults, but he isn't stupid. He realizes he is at real risk of being unemployed very shortly. He needs something to hold up as a positive. "Class" is all he can come up with. For the most part he is correct. He is a classy guy and the majority of his team has shown class as well (except for #55? who was being a chippy a**hole). Ash is hoping this is enough to keep him in a job. I hope it does.
