Haven't heard much feed back yet but I bet there swamped with Coach Gore just arriving last week. I like that he active on Twitter and IG, in this landscape that's how most recruiting is done. Since coaches missed some of the major recruiting showcases, they need to recruit based off of highlight videos, club coaches and club director recommendations which is hard.

Going very well so far. They really like him and he brings a whole new approach. He is purposely challenging them with fairly complicated training/drills. At this point practice is only an hour long so they’re all looking forward to the two hour sessions starting next week. Not sure about how the recruiting is going? Perhaps him and J are keeping that tight to the vest for now.

In women’s soccer you recruit 2 years out so 2026s and 2027s would be done and you focus on 2028s as they can start verbally committing June 15. Now Coach J and Coach Gore need to find quality D1 players in multiple age groups in less than 6 months, it’s not easy. There probably going through hundreds of emails, DMs and highlight videos. The next big showcase is ecnl Phoenix at the of March.
@maroonandsilver do you still believe this to be true, or were you just speculating? Sounded pretty definitive, but I haven't heard any such rumors and my understanding is he is not bringing Troy assistant despite two people on here claiming he is. @MontanaGrizSoccer - still think Delaney Wells is coming to be assistant? Would be great to add a female assistant although she looks to be really green.

I do not, due the salary, moving expenses and cost of living. His old school has been signing players past few weeks so maybe they decided to stay/go to Troy.
Here’s been on campus a week and very active on SM which is good. Numerous coaches and players responded to his posts needed players let’s hope he and J are looking/responding.
Each day more and more 2027 and remaining 2026 sign it’s being published on X. We need to start signing players. It looks they signed a Jr college player from north Idaho college.
I would forgo an assistant this season as a lot of them already signed with schools. Take that 50k and use it as NIL to atttack players and keep what you have.
if by May not enough good players are signed you will see some enter portal.

What does it take to update the women soccer webpage, still has the old coaches and Coach Gore's contact information is not on the website - With needing 10-13 players in 6 months, lets do better.

Here's a start since your always quick to blame Haslam for everything. New WAG/EAG renovations will give this space a Basketball Performance Center feel to it!

I don't know if I can blame them nowadays due to the "transient nature" of college athletics. Hell, there's a good chance you could make a full-time job out of constantly updating the changing rosters!

The renderings do look awesome, that's great for basketball and volleyball, probably long overdue. Where are the soccer locker room remodel/renovations renderings. All I'm saying is when the coaches and players are are trying to recruit players to have a team by June-July, having and showing the new locker room pic would be helpful. I don't think it's asking to much to. While on topic, can someone change the website, it still has Coach Chris on it, Coach Gore's contact information is not on the website. If I'm a recruit, how I do email coach Gore when his email is not listed.
I suspect the renderings are available to show to players. I bet the project has to get voted on at the next BOR meeting in March. The agenda for the meeting will be available next week. When it comes out, I'll look to see if the Soccer project is in the agenda.

This site, ImYouthSoccer, which is a reputable account that tracks D1 commitments on X & Instagram, show two new class of 2026 recruits going to Montana. No updates on UM social media of course.
This player is from Oregon powerhouse Jesuit HS, same as Lucy Rokos. Maybe she’s doing some of the recruiting
