This Washington team is the best football team the Grizzly program has ever played! That being said: If we didn't learn anything from the way the Smellykats defended WAZZU then we are in trouble! We need to face them with pressure not run and react like TG did last week. This team is far superior to WAZZU! We must take the fight to them or get bullied all night like what happened to Bozeman...Our O-Line is key they must protect the QB and open running lanes... This will get ugly fast if the offense doesn't keep the defense off the field!!! "Go
Griz"!!!
So, are you saying that the Cats made a mistake by defending the way Choate, a former WSU assistant when Leach was coaching, said they should defend? Are you blaming TG for defending the way the head coach wanted to defend? Do you think the Cats would have done better to play into Leach's hands"? See below quote.
"MSU head coach Jeff Choate worked under Cougars head coach Mike Leach in 2012 as WSU’s linebackers coach. What he remembered from that season factored heavily in his plan.
“I don’t really like to blitz against Mike Leach,” Choate said. “That’s playing into his hands. If they want to throw a 6-yard crossing route, if they want to dump the ball off to a (running) back, we have to rally and tackle.”
Are you saying it was horrible Cat defense that gave up 7 points in the first quarter, 7 points in the 2d quarter, and 7 points in the 3d quarter?
From the Chronicle article on the game: "Heisman Trophy candidate Luke Falk".
Do you just have your story and you are just going to stick to it, without regard to the facts?
