Ignorance of other systems is not an encouraging thing from a supporter of a supposed engineering and practical science school like MSU. Makes me scared for what your illustrious petroleum engineers will do when they encounter the metric system. Though it's no surprise that a CATS fan wouldn't know what a TD is worth. With your returning offence get used to not having to know what a TD is worth.

Easy now Sask... CFl rules are ridiculous. If the CFl put pride aside and made their rules more like US FB (those folks that invented football), they would pick up a huge group of US fans struggling through spring/summer sports. Canadian pride runs deep though eh?...

I actually just wanted to mention Lulay on the griz board again...But I guess I will take credit for that. And I do know what TD's are worth. I watch a lot of BC Lions games, because my wifes side of the family is from Abborsford B.C. and are huge sponsors. Aren't you Canadians suppose to be nice?

I should probably have added that McGill is university in Montreal. Besides helping to invent football, McGill grad Lester Patrick is credited with creating the NHL and James Naismith, another McGill grad invented basketball.

I once read that the Canadian size field was the standard until about 1912 when U.S. college football adopted the 100 yard field we have now. If that is correct, the Canadians just kept the original sized field and didn't change it when we did down here.

I enjoy watching CFL games, I like the wide-open nature of play they have.

Yeah the league just signed a new tv deal for 42 million a year over 5 years (I know peanuts in the states but big cake up here) the players want revenue sharing and yet the six owners (two of the teams are community owned like the Packers) are unwilling to budge and it looks like job action is going to happen.

Yeah the MVP of the league last year has a part time job at a bank because he knows he will need a career when his football is done. It's a different world.
