For those that are into rugby, the college sevens are on right now amd later today. Central Wa made the final twenty. Just a heads up.

Well they lost by two in the bronze medal game. On the plus side, Dartmouth is kicking the shite out of army.

Hows that dimbledorf?

Btw, we went to the world Sevens in Vegas this year, and will be going again next Feb. I love this version of the game.

Oh! It is really you!!!!

Thought moving to Washington had made you all pinkish and foofy!

Drinking expensive tequila out of tiny porcelain tea cups with you pinky wayyyy up in the air!

Nice of ya to stop by once and a while and converse with the "little people"!

Dartmouth won the championship, clobbering Army. Dartmouth had 4 football players on the team, one of whom played on the regular 15 team in the spring and 3 recruited for the 7s. One of them was the track captain and a sprinter, who had played receiver and d-back. The red-haired coach was the US Eagle 7's captain a few years ago. He used to play with us at Flathead in a summer tourney and lived with us one summer at the lake.

Polson, the LA 7s is very good, but you should consider going to the Hong Kong 7's tourney. I've been 5 times and 3 of the past 4 years. Huge fun. Same very high quality of play, and many of the same teams, but more fun due to the long tradition of the tourney and partying in Hong Kong. 40,000 people in the stadium, most of whom come from places like England. I have a jersey with an insignia declaring it "The world's premier drinking event". I went with my daughter and friends this year. She's the rugby co-captain at Dartmouth. She knows all of the Dartmouth players today, so it was fun to watch with her. A Polson girl, Jackie Johnson, was an all-american rugby player at Dartmouth about 5 years ago.

Central Washington's asst coach is Serevi, who played many years for Fiji. He's the best 7s player of all time. I saw him play several times in Hong Kong. Fiji is still a 7s power, along with teams like Samoa, New Zealand and England.

Your absolutely right about HK, I've been three times. My brother was the head of aviation for Stanley Ho in Macao so we've been a few times. And yep the parties are crazy. I was there when the USA beat Portugal in a world cup game. As I'm sure you know Macao was a Portuguese colony. We were in a bar full of those guys and I thought some would commit suicide, lol. Also fun and a great time is the Dragon Boat races.
Cool about your daughter.
