I'm excited that Ash and Fields are gone so there won't be so many embarrassments to the State of Montana.

Don't hold your breath. That vim-poor program can't get out of its own way. I started a thread a bit ago to list all of the "embarrassments" re MSU, and what I found was that the internet is not big enough to list them all, nor is it fast enough to keep up with all the new embarrassments which hatch each day.

I used to think the constant embarrassment was just a combo of poor decision making and bad luck, but now I have a different theory: it's the Lil' Bro syndrome. They are constantly embarrassing themselves because they are constantly seeking attention. They're a glutton for punishment. I mean, good lord, they're proudly holding "tryouts" for Christ sake! You can't make this stuff up. Seriously. I love ripping on them, probably more than most, and I'd like to think that I am a little creative in doing so, but try as I might, I'll never come up with something funnier than "bobcat batter."

Seriously. Then, add in the grass roots, volunteer bleacher painting jamboree...no freaking way it is accidental. They are actually making us make fun of them. Kind of creepy.

I think so. How about the cat food routine where they awkwardly run into a cat mouth only to be vomited back out of it? These are things they can avoid. Why do they do them? Sometimes I think I'm on the Truman Show, and the Cats only exist to make me laugh.

Proof that there are things out there in this world, so bizarre, so odd, so against all things that make sense and have dignity, that a reasonable person can only ask why, why in the name of all that is good in sports did they think that up, and then why do they keep doing it over and over?

Great points, men! If you add up all of the positive changes going on in Bozeman, they would arguably be the top one or two programs in the Frontier Conference. Here in lies the ultimate strategy. Waded may not know much about the intricacies and differences between American College Futbol Divisions but she does know the difference between winning and losing. Imagine if you wanted to enter a new football conference, what would be your strategy?

First: Just like a snake, you would cut off your opponent's head. Waded successfully did this by hiring the head coaches of several Frontier Conference teams. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Second: You go after the best recruits that the conference could yield. Harry Choate got his marching orders from the El Presidente, limit their talent pool, go after their primary recruits.

Third: Return to your rightful place as an NAIA Champion team.

The writing is on the wall, it doesn't matter what conference you belong to, Just win Baby! Winning brings in the Carbon Blobs that pay for tickets, T-shirts and Blue Bobcat Cups!!
