Cats Not Looking So Good.

Turnovers

Bryant - 5
msu - 0

Hell, we gave up three more to SFU and still won. msu takes five and barely squeaks by? Maybe TG isn't going to be enough to make the kittens respectable.

Scats looked bad to the bone today. Schoty knows he is in a re-building year. We all must be damn glad we are NOT scat fans. They look silly with tons of work to do. They looked good in the pre-season rants...earnning the recruiting war etc. Again glad to NOT have to be a msu scat!

One thing Bozeman doesn't have to worry about is a fan approaching a player and saying 'good game!' Or giving a pat on the back. Just what the coach wanted.

Seriously, did the Cats get beat by Byront U? I didn't see it on DTV.

They got beat in every statistical category available. Badly. But Bryant pissed down its own leg to the tune of 5 turnovers which gave the kitties a 3 point win. They all predicted 30 point win. I think they saw how awful Idaho really is and are slowly coming back down to planet earth. They looked like an NAIA team. A bad one.

Didn't the Griz get beat in almost all categories, except turnovers and the punt return?

Against the Number 3 team in the nation?

It was a great win for the Griz, but no way is UNI the no. 3 team in the nation. They have a nice defense. Their offense is mediocre. Their qb wasn't anything to write home about today, in terms of throwing, decision-making or running. The UM D was only part of his problem today, in my view. An accurate qb would have made it a different game. The coaches want to make the QB beat us, and keep the ball in his hands, and now I see why.

Accurate QB's that consistently throw the ball well don't run like Bailey. Certainly not at the FCS level. So congrats, pr, you've established that had the griz D lined up across from Cam Newton today, we might've had a different outcome. The D was exceptional today, particularly given the fact that uni started every drive from about the 50 yard line.

Um, they are the number 3 in the nation at the moment. Your attempt at being realistic is really just masquerading as pessimism. I can only assume that's because you didn't play the game.
