Here is the official release.

This is a reminder that the Montana-Montana State men’s basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 11 has been moved from a 7:05 p.m. until 8:05 p.m. start. Earlier that afternoon, the Missoula Hellgate and Missoula Sentinel boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will be playing their intra-city rivalry games in the Adams Center. Shoot-arounds for both the Bobcats and the Grizzlies will take place on Saturday morning, as usual.

It should also be noted that the women’s game on Friday, Feb. 10 will remain at 7:05 p.m. Both the men’s and women’s games will be televised live by KPAX Television.

I like that change. Very Mucho. Going to Florida. Will be arriving back on Feb. 11 around 5 pm so more time to get to the game.

Why doesnt Big Sky ever get to play in the Adam's Center??? I remember two or three years Hellgate and Sentinel got to play in Was-Griz too....that is a bunch of bull crap!!! Im getting sick of this!!!

AH!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info

Yeah, not sure why... When I was in high school, I always thought that was bunk that Hellgate gets to play their homecoming game at Wash-Griz.

Not sure in my memory that Big Sky has been able to play at the Adams center in a non state tournament game..

Off all the schools with a semi-legit recent football legacy in Missoula, it would be Big Sky. My experience is that Big Sky was the perverbial red-headed step child of missoula athletics in terms of perception.

I think maybe some high schools are more willing to pay the money to rent out the Arena to play their game. Playing in the fieldhouse or Washington-Griz stadium certainly isn't going to be free.

Eagle Alumnae/i unite!

This city is old-school, in the literal sense... :crybaby:

That is rough. Here's an idea. Have the school district buy up the city block just east of the Hellgate Gym entrance. Build a nice football/track facility with bleachers. Then slap an SID tax on the people living in Big Sky's district to pay for it. That would be fair don't cha think?
