He will be back from his mission in October anybody know if he will still join the team? He can't participate this season but can enroll for next semester and participate in spring drills, I really hope he doesn't decide to go to msu, seems like we keep losing Dillon Kids and Kalispell kids to them.

Would love to have him, especially over the bobkittens. We're pretty loaded at LB now though for the next couple years. Depends if Stitt will honor Delanye's commitment and if Carson still wants to come here. He'd play more and sooner over yonder.

That is a big question mark ... will he honor a previous commitment to a good Montana athlete .. or will he drive the instate kids to the rival team?

Another Southwest Montana kid, BC's Marcus Ferriter (both UM and MSU offered Preferred Walkon spots) started at Defensive End for the cats last weekend against Idaho. He is a red-shirt freshman.

He mostly started due to injuries at the spot but Marcus has gotten up to about 250 and should be a contributor for the next two years until he takes over the strong side DE spot as a junior.

Yeah, I heard Choate mention those things on the coaches show. He said up to about 255 though. :thumb:  I know he was around 220 when he first arrived in college. Choate said Marcus is getting bigger every time he sees him. Whatever that means. lol Just kidding, I know what that means he is working hard in the weight room and at the meal table. He's going to be a good one...

He and Jesse were the top two defensive lineman in that 2014 recruiting class out of Montana. Jesse is still the better athlete but awesome that both started on the defensive line as redshirt freshman and both up above 250. You can always find great Montana talent to play on the defensive line. Every year.
