Canada's "Reverse" TD was called as reverse to Jones

Canada's very nice reverse direction 24-yard TD was designed as a pitch reverse to Jones. At thte time, I thought I'd noticed alot of defenders and no blockers where Canada started running, and lots of blockers and almost a wall when he reversed to the other side.

“Honestly that wasn’t even my run,” Canada said. “We had a reverse (called) to Jamaal Jones and I ended up getting scared when somebody, just a big collision in front of me happened,” Canada said. “I just kept it and ran what he was supposed to run. So I have to apologize to that dude.”

When you see 5 tacklers ahead of you and no blockers, know you were supposed to pitch/handoff to the receiver coming end around, and know there are 6 or 7 blockers on the other side of the field, it's a good decision to reverse direction.

Off topic, but Sanders' son is a sophomore running back for Stanford. Chris Snyder played with Walter Payton's son on the Amsterdam Admirals. He was a nice guy.
