Cal Poly at EWU (The Over-Under?)

At least one sports betting site has the over-under set at 76 for the game between the ‘Stangs and the Eagle. Both teams pile up a lot of yards, but that point total seems a bit high to me. It’s true that EWU is currently averaging 40.0 points per game (#9 in the FCS) against a variety of defenses. And Cal Poly is pretty weak on defense, allowing 31.8 ppg (#85). CP is averaging “only” 29.4 ppg scored (#39), while EWU is giving up 42.3 (#109). So I can see where a projection could go as high as 76 total points in the game. However, in their last three meetings, the final score has averaged 41-30 and only one of those games went over 76 as the over-under.

STATS has a pretty good article about the game at http://www.fcs.football/cfb/story.asp?i=20151008210441100388504&ref=hea&tm=&src=FCS

Cal Poly, Eastern Washington offenses in spotlight
… Both offenses will likely be salivating with their matchups Saturday when the Mustangs visit seventh-ranked Eastern Washington.
"We basically are running at 85 percent of the time," Cal Poly coach Tim Walsh said before last weekend's game against Idaho State.
Walsh's team then went out and ran on 81 of their 90 plays and racked up 499 run yards in a 58-26 rout.

"If we're going to beat them we're going to have to score some points," Walsh said. "How high scoring? I wouldn't put a number on it but we're going to have to score more than the 20 and 28 that we've scored in our losses this year."

TV or stream? Thanks in advance.
We have yet to find it on broadcast TV, even on the high channels. That may change later today. Other than that, I assume there will be streaming through Big Sky.

Total defense - Out of 123 teams, these are the 112th and 123rd placed teams. With EWU being in that dead last spot.

Might cover that 76 by the 3rd quarter.
