I know I'm a big homer with this comment but I'm really excited to see what kind of impact the young RS-F Safety Michael McGinnis can make, either on special teams or defense. He's smart (4.0 GPA) and fast, but young and inexperienced. I've know the kid for a long time and it's always a bit more fun watching the Griz when there is a player you personally know and can pull for. I will be making the 621-mile trip from Sidney to Missoula for Bobby's first game back as coach against the Purple Nut Punchers under the lights on September 1st. GO GRIZ!

He looked very good in the two spring scrimmages I watched, think he's going to be a player sooner than later.

Yup. But I don't want you to worry about the Griz safeties. They and we will be okay.

Heard the Cats are looking at QBs that can throw the ball this year.....could be especially concerning since the last two teams couldnt beat one that couldnt...lololol

The guy that beat them running and almost led the BSC in rushing is gone. The DC that couldn't stop him is gone. The HC and QB that couldn't win big games are gone. The sheriff is back in town. Game on.

My coaching friends in Billings coached him in the shrine game and said he is the real frickin deal. I’m really excited to see him on the field

Oh OK yeah. Super excited about Brown seems like he could definitely have a chance to play, given the amazing new redshirt rules
