Buy, Sell, or Hold?

I want to buy buy buy....but I think I still have PTSD from the Stitt/Delaney years....so Im just enjoying this while its happening.

I will say tho...this team is starting to look and show traits of a BOBBY HAUCK program....which to the rest of the country should be worrying.

Why the Delaney years? His teams were ranked nos. 8 and 12 the last 2 seasons.

I agree on the Bobby's back type comment. A huge difference. With a bit more development of the lines, UM will be back competing with the likes of NDSU. This was told to me by a former player, who also follows NDSU closely due to living in that area.

I just felt like there were always let downs with Delaneys teams.

Okay, I recall a year where we thought they'd go further in the playoffs. I get your comment now. But the fact is that Delaney's last 2 teams did way more than Stitt's last 2.

I feel you, Badlands. I keep going into games feeling like "Will this be the week that we have a letdown and come crashing back to earth?"

And I honestly thought (especially in the 1st quarter) that this last game might be it.

But these boys just keep fighting and blowing my expectations away. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that NDSU is the only team that's looked as good or better than us so far this year, and I've watched at least two games for most of the teams in the top 10 already this year.

There's a part of me that will be cautiously optimistic every week going forward, but I'll be damned if this team doesn't already feel special.

What's the difference between buy and hold? If you choose buy, does that mean you haven't bought in before now?

Maybe you can buy more, sell it off, or hold your position. Maybe you could get into some option trading and hedge with a naked straddle. IDK, just spitballing here.

What's the current price? And what sort of term are we looking at? Are we just trying to flip the stock or are we looking at something long term?

Lots to consider.

We're not trying to retire on this thing. Trying to gain a few Teslas in Q4, but not trying to lose a Camry.

It's clearly a buy at this point. Doesn't mean that any buy is a sure thing. If I could pick only one, I'd definitely pick UM over MSU at this point.

I’m buying. The O-Line is getting better every game, and so goes the rest of the team. We may run into a team that gives us what for, but seems that may not happen. So Go Griz, kick some butt!! We are behind you 100%

What if POW goes to Sac St QB against the hapless EWU defense or BBC against powerhouse NCU.

Sneed had the most total offense (most for Griz QB since 1996) and was the only QB with no interception out of those 3.
...And he didn't play against a hapless defense

No brainer

Sneed was incredible, no doubt, but are we trying to win POW awards or win a league and National Championship?
Sneed was kept in for a couple (certainly 1 at least) needless 4th quarter drive(s). Just to pad the stats? To win a POW award? Is this more important than protecting our #1 asset? Sneed is,by far, our most indispensable player. I don't know why you'd risk his health with a 25 point lead in the 4th quarter AND run the hurry-up to maximize the number of times ISU can injure him. He also, dangerously threw his body into the end-zone on one TD with the game well in hand. Knight already had 3 Tds in the game. Like he couldn't have handled that just as easily? Sneed didn't get hurt, so nobody is making much of a big deal about this but this was reckless and completely un-necessary. but oh boy, I hope he wins another POW award.
Yes, Mom.

Buying,
Offense is playing statistically on par with the '95 Championship team and Sneed is about to win his 3rd, I repeat, 3rd player of the week honor in a row.

I generally agree with your point, but I don't think Hauck pads stats or plays players to pad stats, and he certainly wouldn't do that with Sneed in this situation.

Maybe this nifty graphic will help.

The rest of the team will fight harder for him because of plays like this. I bought in early and I'm buying more now. As far as the rest of the season goes, look who we have at home and who's on the road. Looks good to me.

I think Humphrey’s lead block on Eastwood’s TD run proves he has the same mettle. Just needs to be given a chance...
