Buck list update ????

Was just wondering if anyone here has any info or opinions on Wagenmann's chances to win
the Buck Buchanan award. The guy is simply dominant at his position and I think it would be
super cool if a Montana kid won it for the third straight year.

Wags should be one of the 3 finalists. He will have a hard time beating out the DE from NDSU that has a few more sacks (as of regular season voting) and a lot more tackles for loss. Wags still has him beat in forced fumbles and fumble recoveries, though. It might be very close between these two.

Wags was way out in front until he had a big slump for a few games.

Unfortunately, I think Emmanuel passed him for this one.

Wags made his presence felt the last few games, though.

Neither would be a bad choice for the award, IMO.

After watching Wags again yesterday, he has my vote. Too bad the voting was closed before playoffs... The young man is a beast!

past years they just announce the winner, no narrowing down of finalists other than the current 25

+1 Seems like a pretty nice young man as well.

NO QUESTION..QUALITY GUY. :thumb:

Looking at Zack's numbers he seems to be a well rounded candidate
Zack Wagenmann, 66 TT, 29 Solo, 18.5 TFL, 13.5 SK, 4 PBU, 4 QBH, 2 FR, 5 FF, 1 Safety

Here's last year's top two voted for candidates

(Won 2013) Brad Daly MSU 68 TT, 36 Solo, 20.5 TFL, 14 SK, 7 QBH, 1 INT, 2 PBU, 1 FR, 2 FF, 2 BLK

(2nd most votes) Stephon Robertson JMU 141 TT, 52 Solo,17 TFL, 5 SK, 4 QBH, 1 INT, 5 PBU,1 FR, 2 FF

Of the 25 finalists this year Zack is the only one to have recorded a safety in regular season play too
