EWU leads Weber by 14 with 6 to go

Idaho leads ISU by 4 late in first half.

Sac leads NAU by 7 with 3 left in 1st

SUU and PSU tied in first

WTF is going on with Weber? Just when I thought they were the cream of the crop. I can't stand the UND coach. If it isn't going to be UM this year, it better be weber.

Weber loses by ten to eags
Wow.

Why so surprised? The EAGS are a good team.

I think any one of the top 5 seeds this year will have a shot to win the conference tourney, there isn't a dominant team in the Big Sky this year. UM, EWU, Weber, UND, and Idaho all have a shot, I think MSU may have an outside shot as well if they can get a first round bye...

Agreed. It's whomever is hot for a 4 day period. There's some serious Jekyll and Hyde basketball being played in this league this year.

Which, once again, strongly suggests a 16 seed, regardless of who represents the BSC in the Dance.

Perhaps. More likely a 14-15, though, unless someone comes out of no where to win it.

Samuelson played only nine minutes in the first game, and Pritchett and Moorhead have really become part of the rotation now (hopefully Pritchett)! I could see the Griz dominating inside early, opening it up on the outside later. They out rebounded them by four the first game, and we're much stronger inside now. Be nice to see them going into the tournament with four game winning streak. Go Griz!

Eastern and UND are going to "most likely" end up with 20+ wins in the regular season. The griz played a tough non conf schedule and Weber has a good history behind them. I would guess 14 or 15 seed if its those 4 teams....MSU/IDAHO maybe a 15 seed, probably a 16, anyone else and its the play in game...

I think it is a 3 horse race, Weebs, EWU, UND.

As it stands unless something extremely bizarre happens it looks like Gonzaga will be the #1 overall seed in the Tournament and the top seed in the West. Other than Montana I don't recall any Big Sky team having an overall SOS rating above 75, although I could be wrong about this. Although it is not as much of a priority as it once was regional matchups still play an important role in the seedings. With the PAC-12 having 4 of the top 7 teams in this weeks poll it appears there is more strength out West than at any time in the past several years. Unfortunately that old West Coast bias is still in place as well!

Given all of this, I think there is a reasonably high probability that the BSC Champ is paired against the number one seed in the West Bracket, but not required to play in the play-in game.

Thus, my belief that no matter who it is from the Big Sky, they will be a 16 seed.
