I think its a pretty good pick up considering he originally committed to Maryland who is no slouch in the ACC and then he ends up at UW. I hope he sticks it out through his redshirt year and can add some weight be a legitimate force for us!

This kid is a stud. A big that can put the ball on the floor too. I wish he could play this season.
Originally recruited as a SF, and I can see why. Cannot wait to see him, Wiley, and Dunn in dunk contests.

I don't think the standard weight gain recommendation may be appropriate in this case. I have watched a lot of video on Martin and he looks pretty strong. I agree, maybe 10 to 15 lbs, but no more. Check out the highlights I posted, just before you. He and Bolomboy will be be fun to watch match up for 2 seasons. I was really worried about handling Bolomboy, but am now not really worried.

Agreed. 210 isn't a bad weight for the type of player he appears to be. All his highlights showcase his athleticism, which is a definite need. We really don't get the opportunity to sign an athlete of his caliber too often. Video really doesn't show his skill, defense or shooting ability so who knows how he'll fit in, but an extra year to develop and get coached up should make him a nice piece to the team hopefully.
