Breske?

Breske just got canned as the DC at Wazzu. Is he a possible HC candidate for us?

Being the D-Coordinator under Leach has to be one of the worst jobs in college football. The mastermind's offense turns the ball over 3 times by int/fumble and 3 more times on downs and it is all on the defense because the Huskies score 31 points. And this is just a carbon copy of most Wazzu games. Heaven forbid the problems are on the offensive coordinator...

How do you know, he has never been a head coach just like Tye but you and I like the idea of Tye getting a shot.

Basically true of any Air Raid offense.. ever see one with a good defense? I think Kevin Sumlin just fired his DC too.

That was a definitive answer. Care to elaborate?

I know Gregorak's defenses were sometimes head scratchers, but they have significantly improved. Breske's defenses were always tough. Except when they faced option teams a la CP and SHSU. Come to think of it, both have had that problem.

Ty Gregorak has moved up on Haslam's list. Breske? He just might end up as the DC if Ty ended up on top. All far reaching though. Can't get a hint from Kent other than we should know who within two and a half weeks.

Breske is coordinator material, not HC material. He can coach the hell out of a defense though. I don't think he'll be unemployed long.

Tye would be a good choice and Breske as a d-coordinator would be awesome. Doubt it happens but one never knows.

If that is true...
Then presumably the next Montana head coach is not currently coaching somewhere else. Someone in the mix for the playoffs, or preparing to go to a bowl game, probably wouldn't want the distraction to their current season with an announcement of their imminent departure.

Good point. Hmm.

Could you please elaborate, on why Breske is not HC material, I'm curious about a claim like that without some kind of follow up.

I know he smokes, and is know to take part in having a libation, although not sure what that has to do with his football credentials, which included NC at two levels as DC.
