Bryant Bulldoggies be an autobid from the wimpy NEC (Northeast Conference). They're not a shoe-in. They still have to play at the powerhouse -- Sacred Heart -- on Nov. 15.

If there is a football God up there, this potential matchup between MSU and NDSU happens. Alas, I don't think MSU is going to be IN the playoffs, let alone sent to Fargo.

That or EWU could not make me happier.

Please, football gods, if MSU should make the playoffs, send them to Fargo.

Please please please kitty kats to Fargo. I'd love to see the look on Coach Ron Ash's face when that is announced.

Crazy that cal poly gets no love after beating both Montana schools.
Either UM or MSU will have another loss because they play each other. Cal Poly has a tough game at Idaho State, but I do not see them losing to Davis or San Diego.

Crazy as it seems...I wouldn't mind the Griz heading back there....

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord his promise keep
Of bison chips on Fargo’s field
With bobcat blood and fur congealed. Amen, brothers.

Wtf is a Bryant?

Bryant University moved up to the FCS a few years ago and have quickly made a name for themselves in all sports. They are located in Smithfield, RI. It is an excellent school. Their AD that engineered their move up to Div I was Dave Gavitt's son. Dave was the founder of the Big East and AD and coach of the Providence College Friars basketball. Last year Bryant made it to the semi-finals in Lacrosse after beating Syracuse's storied program. Their football program is not that old but have come on really strong. They have a really solid team this year. They have wins over Stony Brook, Bucknell and Maine this season so far. They also have an excellent basketball team coached by Tim O'shea a former great at Boston College. I know all this because I am an alumni of their undergraduate and graduate school. It would be fun to see them come out here and play either the Griz or the Cats in the playoffs.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather the cats didn't even make the playoffs. Would do my heart good.

If, at the beginning of each season during the last decade, you put $1 million on the Cats to miss the playoffs, you would be ahead.

Oh, I completely agree. But, IF they do make the playoffs, I want them sent to Fargo. That would do my heart good.
