Bowl lineup snuck out early...

Kirk Homer Herbstreet says Ohio State will win.

Home game for LSU
LSU lost their D-coordinator

Notre Dame has a longer win streak than both of these teams

What Bowl Game is Notre Dame playing in? I looked on ESPN and Fox Sports, oh yeah, they suck.

The best part about bowl season? 2 things:

1) Watching a bunch of mid-majors beat the hell out of some lower-ranked SEC/Big 10/Big12/Pac-10 teams, only to give them the false hope they look for every year that they beat a team who beat another good team...which in the end allows their fans to have that little hope by saying "our team beat Stanford, who beat USC, so we could've beat USC"...or "Appy State beat Michigan, and we beat Appy State, we're awesome". Not that that happened with Wofford, but I'm sure some of the other teams in I-A did.

2) IT'S FOOTBALL FOR 2 STRAIGHT WEEKS!!! How can anyone hate the fact that, with the exception of just a couple days, there's a football game on every day/night...hell ya!

Hawaii's in! Ohio State/LSU in what figures to be another OSU beatdown.

Sugar Bowl, as predicted last night. They have no reason to complain when they played the weakest schedule of any of the top teams, by far.

By far, GB? I beg to differ. It's comparable, at least, to OSU's (in terms of OOC schedule).

Let's compare:

OSU

7-4 Youngstown St (non-playoff FCS)
4-8 Akron MAC
3-9 Kent St MAC
4-9 @ Washington (Pac-10)

Hawai'i

1-11 UNC (non-playoff FCS)
5-6 Charleston Southern (non-playoff FCS)
4-9 Washington (Pac-10)

I'd call that pretty similar, dude. BTW, someone tried to put forth the claim on FCS.com that the Griz screwed up BY DEFINITION due to their poor schedule, as if NOBODY ever gets away with a bad schedule. I posited OSU as proof otherwise. Your point with Hawai'i is another. My position is that you can't very well help your conference sched, and if you're a mid-major, you can't very well help your OOC sched, either, because the high majors are too freaking scared to play you. You take what's placed before you, and if you do well, you should be rewarded, not screwed to benefit a .500 team from a bloody power conference.
