With Boise State finding itself at #4 in the first BCS rankings of the season, it would apear that they have a lagitament chance at the National Title game if they can win out. Winning out in strong fashion wouldn't hurt either. But if Boise State can come from the small time of the Big Sky Conference to possibly playing for an FBS title, that will definatly ad fuel to the move up fire. And rightfuly so I would have to say.
 
My guess is that if Boise wins out and so do teams like Iowa and Cincy they will both pass the Broncos in the BCS poll?
 
Boise will never play for a national championship. Undefeated or not, there is too much money to be divided to the Florida's of the world.

I agree, but I don't think alot of teams, if any, will win out. But Boise St has the most condusive schedule to do so.
 
Boise State could go 12-0 for the next 10 years, and they still would never be allowed to play for the national championship. It pisses me off, because I think any team that goes undefeated deserves to be recognized for that effort, but I also understand why ... the WAC and its teams simply do not fit in the same category as the SEC or the Pac-10 nor the Big 12, etc., etc. I guess that's related to why I'm not a fan of the Griz 'moving up' to the WAC: why go from the top of one heap (the FCS) to, at very best, the middle of another heap (FBS)?
 
You guys have a crystal ball at home? Boise State could end up in the MWC and that is the next Conference to be accepted as a BCS Conference. If that scenario happens Boise State certainly COULD play for a NC. You jealous f##ks. You can't stand that a fellow peer has had success. Petty.
 
It pisses me off that they won't just use a #ucking playoff. I understand that $ makes the world go round, but for god sakes give everyone a fare shake. Thats all anyone wants. Who know's what Boise St could do in a 16 team field?
 
Ronbo, you are so wrong!! I LOVE that Boise State has been successful, and I root for them every week. There's no jealousy at all on my part. I think it would be fabulous if they played for a national championship, but the "big boys" won't let that happen.

I think its more that they just want to bitch about the BCS at every moment possible.

We should be dissinterested because of a WIN? Im impressed with there body of work over the last 5 years. One WIN, is not gonna make me think less of them or there program, wich by any standards is extremly impressive. Should I be unimpressed with the griz for the rest of the season because they barley beat an unranked E Wash team that has no chance at making the playoffs?

Wow, take a pill or have a high ball. I don't need a crystal ball to figure out the BSC is not going to let little old Boise State in the national championship. I don't care which conference.
 
Well, fellas, the Boise State debate is interesting, although I wouldn't bet against them playing in the national championship. What I haven't seen of late is comments from you fine folks about how bad Idaho is why UM would turn out the same dismal way if we leave the Big Sky??
