"If it’s built, UNLV Now will be a “game-changer” for Las Vegas, said Irwin Molasky, a longtime local developer who helped build the Las Vegas Convention Center. Molasky now serves as a member of the project’s advisory board. Las Vegas lost out on major events in the past because it lacked a mega-events center, Molasky said. With a new stadium, UNLV might be able to attract the NCAA’s Final Four or an NFL exhibition game, he said. “Right now, we’re dreaming big dreams,” Molasky said. “We hope everyone sees the great promise of this amazing project for UNLV and our region.”
Yes, Bobby's W/L record figures in, but with that kind of support, and the team Bobby is building, it shows great confidence in Bobby to make UNLV a football giant. It's good the people with the $$$ are stepping up. Already, on the UNLV board, people are impressed w/ the team BH is building, using local kids as much as possible as he did at UM. I still say, Vegas will see a Griz South team.
