Please elaborate on the "death of UM football" part.

alot of the issues with UM football the past decade lay on his doorstep. Do you honestly think the ncaa will let that happen again (well to a non power 5 school we all know how fair and impartial the ncaa is)

Besides, his time has come and gone, time to get a young coach that wants to prove himself.

They're all scared to death because they know IF Hauck were to come back Ash's chances of EVER winning "The Brawl of the Wild" would take a serious nose dive.

Why would Bobby Hauck's return be bad for the Bobcats? Hauck lost more games to the Bobcats than any Griz coach in the last 28 years.

Actually, it's rumored that Ash will be stepping down later today, and Bobby will be HIS replacement. At that time the University of Montana will become .... University.

Montana is the only university in division I football that would even think about hiring Bobby Hauck. After five years at UNLV, with a full team of his own recruits, Bobby Hauck had his worst team ever.
His 80-17 record at UM was a distant memory. The friends he brought with him from UM as coordinators turned in miserable performances and had to be demoted.
The rest of college football isn't wrong about Bobby Hauck. It's a profession based on current results and Bobby Hauck's recent results are some of the worst in the game.

You'd think he never made a bowl game in a town that doesn't support football at their premier state univeristy. Don't let facts hit you in the backside, he was given a team that had nothing when he got it - and he developed a great backfield last year that helped them make a bowl game. Hard to recruit to Vegas, and that is what showed - not so hard to recruit to Montana or have you forgotten that?
