He refers to sdsu as.........State. so I guess he doesn't find it quite the insult you all think it is. And I thought it was too.......but if he refers to his present school as State and MSU as State, I suppose he uses it towards schools he feels affectionate towards.

I read that article this morning in GF. I thought he came across as not arrogant at all and I appreciate that.

I think he called you guys "state" to the press because he was wise enough to know his usual term for you wasn't printable.

Teton cat knows beatdowns. We are new to them so maybe you could explain them to us?

BTW, I was on the sidelines in the litterbox in late November. I witnessed a beatdown. Cant remember who was playing tho :lol: :lol:

That's the thing. Don't call us 'state' because we are the state. We own the state. We own the Sky. Those games the 'other team' lost last season prove it.

It raised a question in my mind, though: How many years will you keep up the "own the state" and "dominate the sky" facade and simply go the route of Coach Ron Ash and be plenty satisfied with 6-5 and a 7th place finish?

EverettGrizz, I thank you for your backhanded question. I will keep this up as long as the fans are satisfied. It seems indefinite. I'm guessing 7 to 8 years.

That's the thing. Don't call us 'state' because we are the state. We own the state. We own the Sky. Those games the 'other team' lost last season prove it.

To California residents SDSU is known as "State". It is the biggest campus in the California State University System. Hauck is just calling the school what it's know as. No mystery here.....
