Blazers have #1 pick, followed by Seattle

Best line I head on the draft...
"Worth considering: if Portland takes Oden, and Durant turns into the next Michael Jordan, Portland will have passed on both Michael Jordans. For the record, I trust Kevin Pritchard with this decision." from Henry Abbott of TrueHoop

Someone mentioned it elsewhere, but I'll say it here:

With Durant and Oden most likely 1 & 2 (in either order), the Western Conference just got alot better.

Good. There is a lot of East coast bias when it comes to sports and I'm kind of sick of it. They've already got the Yankees, Red Socks, Patriots, Colts (relatively Eastern), Red Wings (or whoever else is good at hockey), the Florida Gators winning every NCAA championship possible. At least the West can claim the best NBA basketball. Having 5-10 minutes of coverage over Roger Clemens' A league start was a little too much for me to handle.

Aren't the Sonics moving out of Seattle soon? I wonder if landing one of these guys will change that.

You got that right, but it doesn't look good for SH's Kings.

Tonight, the Red Wings got sent home for the year by my Ducks, 4-3 in Game 6. Anaheim's first title win will start in the next few days. I can't wait!
