I can't believe I'm wading into this pissing match, but I do have a general question.
In the past, when players left the program for any reason, did Read, Glenn, Hauck, Delaney call the Missoulian to issue a statement, or did the school/athletic department put out such statements wishing them luck and such?
If it hasn't been the norm, why does it need to be the new normal?

What was said at QB club? If stitt is bashing former players at qb club that would not be cool.
As far as players leaving there are hundreds of reasons for a kid to quit playing . Between the physical toll, the mental toll, the year around commitment, overbearing parents, the fact they may have been playing their sport since a very young age and are burnt out I'm surprised more do not step aside.
Regular college kids decide they want to transfer to a different school or not go to school at all.
