CBS’ Norlander confirms The Action Network’s McMurphy’s reporting that Colorado State and Air Force are “heavily involved” in talks to leave to join the AAC. McMurphy reports the move is expected "likely next week." Norlander adds: “Clear desire for the AAC to add more than two” and goes on to report that “San Diego State & Boise State were heavily courted by the AAC -- but balked. Understanding is Boise is waiting and hoping for an eventual invite from the Big 12.” Meanwhile, one MWC source tells Norlander: “The biggest problem right now is no one has any faith in Craig Thompson as commissioner and there is growing concern about the league."
