Big weekend coming up

This Saturday is a big one for a lot of schools, and for our Griz, a win is a must.

#2 NDSU @ #9 SDSU
#4 MSU @ #5 EWU
#6 SE Louisiana @ Incarnate Word (IW is 6-2)
Missouri State (5-3) @ #7 Southern Illinois
#8 UC Davis @ NAU (4-4)
#10 Villanova @ Elon (4-4)

There's going to be a lot of movement and some good chances for upsets that'll really re-organize the top 10 teams in the FCS. I understand some fans here will point out why the hell should we be concerned about this based on the way Montana's playing right now - but one of their goals is the post-season. If Montana can get their crap together and get a road win this weekend they're going to have a great opportunity to get back into the top 10 and start to move back onto a path to land a bye - if they win out.

Lots of football to be played, but weekends like this upcoming one are where the Griz can get a big push as long as they handle business in their game.
 
Every weekend after Sac state needed to/needs to be a playoff mentality. There is opportunity for this team every week, but I hope the emphasis becomes handling business and controlling our own destiny. Though there was a lot to pick apart after last week, I did see a lot of fire and passion albeit misguided. If the staff can refocus that energy where it needs to be and get back to the mentality and swagger this team took to Seattle the ship can be righted in time to make a run. If not this particular group will only have themselves to blame. As a fan I’ll be cheering for them regardless, and thankful that we have a full season of football this year. Bring on Saturday.

Northern Colorado does seem to be playing better now than they did earlier in the year... hopefully the Griz come out strong this Saturday in Greeley. Going to be a fun weekend to watch the Griz and a bunch of other games.

As long as you guys stay healthy and avoid the plethora of blatant cheap shots and bush league play I’d expect you to win going away.

If you’re going to the game keep your head on a swivel from douchey coaches chucking clipboards.
