yah, im not liking the looks of the schedule this week, sentinel plays thursday and saturday, both days the griz have games

I saw only the line score this morning Flathead lost 57 - 51. How did Osweiler do against Garland?
Not to take anything away from the Flathead team but they really have not played against any of the better teams in the Western or the Eastern AA. Sentinel despite their record has a quality team and Garland is good. Edwards at Butte should be a good test for him as well. Does Flathead play GFHS this year? That would be a good match up Osweiler and Howard (he like Osweiler played AAU out of state this summer and I think it has helped his game alot). Saw him in Helena last night and he and the guard Tatarka had a great game against Capital who is struggling right now but will be a quality team come tourney time.
O'Connel (sp) and Bignell could give Flathead trouble as well. Not a criticism just some thoughts. Would like to know how the Freshman did last night.

I think he only had 12; Garland went off for 36 of Sentinel's 57 points.
Flathead is a TRUE point guard away from being a legit title contender. Hogan & Osweiler would be unstoppable if they had a gifted #1 running the show. DeHerrera is a good athlete but he should be a 3 (and ONLY a 3). The Braves will be beaten by any team with a good defensive backcourt.
The Braves also have another BIG problem; but I will not discuss it publicly.

I reffed a couple games that this kid was in when he was seventh grader. Words don't describe how good he was then - I remember asking coach at halftime of one of those games if this truly was a seventh grade game. He had moves that most juniors and seniors in high school don't make back then. I was amazed at how fluid he was with both his hands and feet for his age.
I was listening to the coaches show Monday at 6:00. A caller made mention of Osweiler and coach Larry K. said he is going to watch him play on Thursday. This sounds good to me for 2 reasons. 1 - Larry might be planning on staying around for awhile. And 2 - Osweiler could end up a Griz in 4 years.

why wouldnt coach k stay here? he already made the big money, i bet he stays here because he likes the town atmosphere and would like to raise his kids here. i really wouldnt be surprised.
