I’m not saying a team outside a “dominant” conference can’t make the championship game.......but usually a “dominant” conference has A SINGLE TEAM that has a good chance.

We’ll see how it plays out.

You've proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you don't understand the concept of dominant TEAM vs dominant CONFERENCE. You should just put down the shovel, dude. Every time you post, you just dig the hole deeper and deeper....

I do....dominant conferences usually have the best sagarin rating (the Big Sky does not), wins head to head games in total for conference matchup series (the Big Sky did not this year in the MVFC series), had one team expected to go to the championship game (the Big Sky does not) and offers more teams with winning records than losing records (the Big Sky had 8 teams with losing records compared to 5 with winning records).

Conveniently leave out playoff seeds. Wonder why?

How did MFVC do against our playoff teams?

No I did answer the question. The MVFC had a clear cut seeded team entering the last week of the season and lost their starting QB and didn’t have a backup plan. Their other seeded team, lost the two best running backs in the nation, in terms of YPC, and their starting QB and dropped from what was a likely 3 seed to a 7 seed based on their loss.

If that doesn’t happen, there are three seeded MVFC teams, two being #1 and #3, and 3 seeded Big Sky teams.

I get that injuries happen in football, but all of the other Big Sky teams who are seeded didn’t have to deal with season ending losses to starting QB’s right at the end of the year nor the loss of Walter Payton front runners like Pierre Strong.

One week of results, predicated heavily off of injuries, changed the landscape of how you guys are viewing the scope of the entire season. All season long, the MVFC was viewed as the premier conference and that was constantly reflected based on coaches polls, stats polls and Sagarin.

I've stayed away from this trainwreck thread...until now.

Your post reeks of lil bro syndrome. It's fuckin@g gross. Don't log in over here and literally whine about injuries. It's weak. And lame.

Your fucki#ng team has dominated this division for a decade...act like you've been there before.

Whining about injuries....smh.

RTD is real and rising...get used to it.

What a bunch of bullshit. Maybe they’d have better luck if they never played any games, then they could all just go off of the conference reputation...

The MV clear seeded team was not going to be the no. 3 seed. UM was, if they beat the Cats.

If the MV clear seed, a no. 3, lost the game, why did the team not get a seed at all. UM lost the last game, and still got a no. 6 seed. Tells me your no. 3 was not really going to get a no. 3. Even if you were talking about UNI, why did they drop so much.

Most of your claims are only in your mind, and not based in reality.

You act as if the last game of the season is the only one that counts. Lots of other teams, including Big Sky teams, had injuries and other problems earlier in the season. Lots of landscape changes occurred eariler. Sorry, but the earlier problems count too.

Sorry, I just don't agree with your last sentence in your post above.

UND gets thumped in first round. They were 1- 1 (with a very close loss) against seeded Big Sky Conference teams this year.
