Tournament to be held in Missoula, March 12 - 14.
Matchups:
3rd seed MSU vs 6th seed NAU
4th seed ISU vs 5th seed SAC
Lady Griz versus lowest remaining seed which could be any of three teams - NAU, SAC, or ISU
PSU versus the highest remaining seed whcih could be any of three teams - MSU, ISU, or SAC
Maybe this year will be a repeat of last years championship game playing the Cats.
I mean PSU did lose to the Cats once this year.
Also, what could have happened this year. If PSU did not lose to the Cats this year, both Lady Griz and PSU would have finished at 15 - 1. It could have been the first time that RPI determined the host of the Big Sky tournament instead of a coin flip like back in 1993. But, alas, that was not to be. Anyway, Lady Griz would have won that tie breaker.
