you might want to check the Big Sky standing. Montana is not leading the Big Sky with EWU.

Eastern Washington 3-0 5-1
North Dakota 3-0 4-2
Weber State 2-0 3-2
Southern Utah 2-1 3-2
Montana 1-1 4-1

Nodak, you're new to e-Griz. Please see the e-Griz Forum for Beginners. In it you will introduced to general concepts that will allow you to easily navigate your way through the board. Section 5 subsection C(a) clearly states: Since the vast majority of Mr. Titleist's post are written while he is intoxicated, a rule of thumb to understand and appreciate his posts, one should only read them while he/she have a BAC of .09 or higher. Other helpful sections include, Kessman 101; Getting Band; and, PR is a Douche Bag.

In the Big sky mvp section is it time to remove Cookus and add some one else? Or was that the preseason list? Also santiago is not putting up huge numbers?

I've debated on Cookus. It's not looking like he will finish highly in the MVP race. Santiago was having a good year.. certainly trailed off. But really, this race is basically between 2-3 people and they're all from EWU.

Pathetic that UND has their toughest game remaining on their schedule this week.

Thats right UNDs toughest game is SUU at home...this conference is a freaking joke...

If UND doesnt get handed the BSC title this year they should be kicked out of the conference.

It's UND, I'm certain they'll find a way to step on their dicks at least once. And if not, we've still got our chance to go 10-1 and grab a higher seed than them.

So Cal-Poly doesn't count as a tough game? As of this week, the strength of Shedules, according to Sagarin has UND at #174 and Montana at #187. Lots of football left to be played though!

I said remaining on your schedule....and for UND to be ranked ahead of Montana in any ranking besides best hockey programs is a joke.

I've debated on Cookus. It's not looking like he will finish highly in the MVP race. Santiago was having a good year.. certainly trailed off. But really, this race is basically between 2-3 people and they're all from EWU.

Montana State employed a nine-man box any time John Santiago was in the game in Bozeman the first week of conference play. The Bobcats basically brought the house no matter what any time Santiago was on the field. It worked, at least in terms of slowing down Santiago; he finished with a career-low 57 yards on 19 carries, and that included a 16-yard run. Because UND's coaching staff saw this early, Brady Oliveira was the bell cow the majority of the afternoon. Montana State did not employ a similar package with Oliveira; rather, the Bobcats just played base defense. Oliveira rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns.

Santiago suffered a leg injury in the first quarter against Cal Poly and left the game early on. He was on crutches on the sideline the rest of the way. He had nine carries for 76 yards against Sac State last week but Oliveira was again the go-to back, notching 18 carries for 111 and two touchdowns. Honestly, Oliveira, who is also a sophomore and would be a starter at quite a few Big Sky schools, is in the conversation for league MVP. He is averaging 136 yards per game against Big Sky teams, including 6.8 yards per carry. He has scored five touchdowns in the last three weeks and UND is 3-0 in conference play.
