Big Sky Post-Season

Am I missing something?

Besides the Griz in the Big Dance, the only Big Sky team I see playing in a post-season tournament is Southern Utah in the CIT. Is that right? Hard to believe Weber, NoColo, and EWU didn't get an invite (or declined) to go somewhere.

They declined as far as I know. Weber definitely turned down invitations. Not sure on the others, but I imagine so did NCU.

Nope, you are not missing anything. Thing about the CIT and CBI is the school has a financial commitment to participate....reason most will turn it down.

Nope, you are not missing anything. Thing about the CIT and CBI is the school has a financial commitment to participate....reason most will turn it down.

Weber and Northern Colorado both turned it down. Weber, internal issues. UNC, just like Idaho last year, No. 2 seed one-and-done, missed ultimate goal, shut it down. Plus, UNC won CIT last year.

On the women's side, Idaho is at Loyola Marymount, Idaho State at Arizona and Northern Colorado at Wyoming in the first round of the WNIT.
