So does Weber beat EWU? Grubard pretty much beat us singlehanded. We feel we beat ourselves in Ogden, so Weber hardly had to break a sweat. We probably look at it as a tossup in Cheney.

I haven't watched or followed EWU since UM played them, and only saw Weber against UM and some of the Cat game, but I think EWU will win.

Eastern coming off a bye week, playing at home, and essentially playing in a playoff game on Saturday, wins big....

Potential for cold weather and snow, that kind of weather is not kind to fast pace air it out teams, and could potentially favor the team that likes to run the ball and control tempo. Eastern also has shown a tendency to struggle against teams that play good defense.

Eastern typically plays well in colder weather even when it’s wet (see last 7 years in playoffs), it’s the wind that wrecks havoc on easterns offense....

Should be a good game Saturday, but I think Eastern plays lights out as this is a pivotal game

but all of those turnovers were caused by Weber's defense. Except maybe the wide open interception

Two -- the fumbled handoff exchange -- were 100% self-inflicted. You could argue a few of the others as well. But credit to Weber: they did what they should when granted enormous gifts.

It wasn't a handoff it was a short toss and the QB hurried the toss because he had a Wildcat bearing down on him.

No you're confusing this with something else. The fumbled QB exchange to the RB Calhoun on the Weber 5 yard line in the third quarter that would have made it a 2 score game with 9 mins left

Yes, he's confused. The hand off on the five was wide open into the end zone. Missed touchdown there. The fumble on the kickoff was a gift inside our 20, I believe, for another TD. That's two gifts. Two 15 yard penalties on third downs to give them first downs instead of punting, more gifts. But you're correct - credit Weebs for taking those gifts and using them to kick our butts!
