Every team has backed out on a promise for home and home series at some point. It happens to NAU all the time as non-conference teams from the Midwest, East or South don't want to travel that far and play at elevation. I'm sure NAU has done it to other teams. As wrong as it is when one's team is on the receiving end, it's part of the business.

NDSU moved on quite well from their situation with MSU. I'm sure the Bobcats have more regrets from last season than the Bison do.
