I spoke with Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton today about the importance of the FCS Kickoff game between Montana and North Dakota State to the FCS, and the effort to bring more national attention to the division...and to the Big Sky...please watch and comment!

Doug, Doug, Doug . . . those are some pretty bold statements for the 6th rated FCS conference in 2014 (check your sagarin ratings). If you want to keep those games in the Big Sky, you better earn those games.

It would probably be best for the FCS to move these games throughout the country.

Well....it's kind of his JOB to promote the Big Sky. Plus there weren't any real bold statements that I heard at least. He claimed Montana has the best venue in the FCS, Montana-App State was the highest rated FCS game on national tv...both pretty cut and dry statements.

According to Foolerton's comments ESPN's crew couldn't get hotel rooms in Msla...they are staying in Polson. REALLY???? :lol: :lol:

Not at all surprised. The HI Parkside was over sold on January 3rd when I called. I booked the last two remaining rooms at the Red Lion that day.
