I am not into all conference teams but if you are you may enjoy the above article. Mighty fine all conference team. With that many players it leaves little room for argument.

If I was into individual honors (which I am not) I would nominate Dark Horse Dlouhy to the all Dark Horse Big Sky Tournament Team of ( six ) before the tournament is played. He would have to Jump and Jam and play D and get to the championship game to be considered.
 
I dont like that team at all! Grow a set Fullerton and pick 5 players for 1st team and 5 for 2nd team. If you upset somebody....too bad. These post season awards are meaningless in my eyes.

Same thing for football...Lulay, Ochs AND Meyer are all 1st team QB? In fact, the starting QB, RB and the #1 WR for each Big Sky team made at least honorable mention. And that is just for the skill positions.

Just so long as nobody is offended. These post season awards are kinda like tee ball.....everybody bats, everybody fields, everybody wins! :roll:
 
The teams are voted on by the coaches. All Fullerton does is count the votes. If players tie, they still make the team. A pretty standard process in most conferences.

I think 12 for a basketball all-conference team is right where it should be, as that's how many are on a team to begin with. Last year there were 11. I see no problem with how they designate all-conference.

Don't tell me that all 3 of those QB's did not deserve to receive recognition. They all did incredible things last season and one didn't deserve a nod over the other 2. That QB argument is hogwash.
 
Ever since Matt Williams led the league in scoring and rebounding, but didn't win MVP, I've hated this thing. I didn't like it when Sprinkle, who sets 3-pt records was snubbed either. They couldn't screw up this year with Boxley. He was too good to miss on.
