Unfortunately, it worked for the SAC/NAU game... U-G-L-Y

Kadeezy,

You guys lost about a game and a half considering there were 3 road breakthroughs tonight. There are no gimmes in BSC this season, including NOCo.

Is Jenkins still doing rapid fire substitutions again?

He made a substitution less than a minute into the game tonight, but actually it's not nearly as frequent this year. Look for more substitutions when Hawaii transfer Kris Groce takes the court for the first time against the Griz one week from today.

From reading quotes of his former coach, Groce sounds like a problem child

Groce out?: Wallace was deciding on sophomore guard Kris Groce's future with the team last night.

Groce sat out the end of yesterday's practice when Wallace benched him because of a poor attitude.

"That's Kris Groce," Wallace said when asked for specifics, implying ongoing discipline problems.

Wallace had not decided last night whether Groce would be sent back to Hawaii or remain with the team. He also did not know yet if Groce would remain a member of the team.

"I'm working on it," the coach said.

Groce, a 5-foot-10 transfer from Columbia Basin Junior College, has played 76 minutes in 11 games this season, averaging 1.0 points-per-game, 0.5 rebounds and 0.6 assists.

"I have nothing to say," Groce said.

Wow, a college athlete with an attitude?! You dug deep for that one.

Not really. It was the first article that popped up after a search of his name. They all have an attitude, most are good attitudes. When a Coach is so fed up with you he calls you out in the media, that is not exactlya ringing endorsement. I have no problem with your defending him because he is your problem now, but the fact is he got run from Hawaii. I will wager he is no difference maker for the Hornets this season.
