"BIG MONEY" Sayeed Pridgett video

Going back 80's to 90's old school here, his game reminds me of Adrian Dantley.

I'm not seeing that comparison at all. Dantley may have been about 6'5" but he was real bulky, more a Barkley-esque post player, and great rebounder for his size. I'm thinking Alphonzo Anderson might more fit the Dantley profile. Pridgett reminds me more of Kent Bazemore of the Atlanta Hawks, a 6'5" wing with great versatility in the open court who can get you some rebounds, but not a post player of any type.

Hard to believe, Pridgett plays PG as well. It will be interesting to see his game and maturity develop. He has a huge upside. I wonder, who will he remind of us by the time he ends his GRIZ career? As for my comparison to Dantley, it was not a physical thing, but his nifty scoring in the paint, without flashy dunks, and how well he absorbs contact on many of his baskets. I have not followed the NBA enough the last several years. I prefer college hoops, by a landslide. I usually watch more NBA during the playoffs though. :thumb:

The kid doesn't "muscle," almost appears "double-jointed," just limber as all get out, and moves so very easily.

What's the last time one of our recruits came in with a nickname?

Let's hope he lives up to his nickname. GRIZ football has the "Yeti" coming in next year. The Yeti is OL, Thayne Jackson. Big Money and the Yeti are both very highly rated recruits for the GRIZ in their respected sports. It should be fun to follow these guys. :thumb:
